As CK Energy Akdeniz Electricity, we act on the basis of sustainability and inclusiveness in our Corporate Social Responsibility projects as in every step we take. With our Hayatı Aydınlat project, which we have implemented with the aim of enabling our citizens with physical disabilities to take part in life without being ""de-energized"", we are installing battery-operated wheelchair charging stations in different locations in our service. Launched in 2016, the framework of our Hayatı Aydınlat project was drawn in the light of suggestions from our colleagues. Within the framework of the project, which was launched with the aim of contributing to the inclusion of disabled citizens in life and raising awareness, we organize Hayatı Aydınlat concerts every year, where famous names and our colleagues take the stage. In the first phase of the project, we established battery-operated wheelchair charging stations with the revenues from the concerts and contributed to the creation of seven special classrooms for special children in cooperation with the Association for Coaching Türkiye, the Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Turkish Red Crescent.
Project Details
- Hayatı Aydınlat is our social responsibility project that aims to increase the freedom of movement and sensitivity to the movement rights of physically disabled citizens in urban life.
- Within the scope of Hayatı Aydınlat, we raise awareness and resources for the project through high-profile events organized by our employees.
- As the first step of the project, we are installing battery-operated wheelchair charging stations at key transportation points in our service regions (Antalya, Burdur, Isparta).
Project Goals
- We aim to expand access to electricity in communal areas
- To enable our most disadvantaged customers to participate in life by providing them with electricity
- To establish battery-operated wheelchair charging stations for the benefit of disabled people
- To increase the number of battery-operated wheelchair charging stations we have established in the Mediterranean Region.
Project Results
- So far, we have installed battery-operated wheelchair charging stations at 11 locations in the Mediterranean Region.
- We also contributed to the creation of seven special classrooms for special children in cooperation with the Association for Coaching Türkiye, the Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Turkish Red Crescent.
